| Scottish Glass Society | The Society, formed in 1979, was established to promote the development of the art and craftsmanship of glass making and its many variations in Scotland. Our aim is to advance the public appreciation of glass making as an art form. We mount regular exhibitions and give annual prizes for student work and an annual travel grant. We hold frequent meetings, organise lectures, demonstrations, produce publications and promote discussion. |
| Bullseye Glass | In our Portland (Oregon) factory, we manufacture colored glass for use in art and architecture. We're noted as the first company in the world to formulate and manufacture glasses that are factory-tested for fusing compatibility. Five days a week our skilled craftspeople pour, roll, and shape glass into sheets and other forms, using methods rooted in the late seventeenth century and re-invented by company founders in the 1970s. Bullseye provides more than 1,000 different glass products in a complex color palette to artists worldwide. |
